Dianne Wright: Director of Kokonut Kapers!

The purpose of this organization is to build community while promoting and encouraging interest in the study of music, drama, and fine arts in Putnam County.  It is very rewarding to see the children of Putnam County learn how to share their time and talents.  This cannot happen without your continued support.  A sincere “thank you” to everyone who contributes to the success of the PCCT.

Dianne Wright: Director of Kokonut Kapers!

Dianne is married and has 6 children ranging from age 34 to 16.  She has a bachelors degree in Human Service Administration and is now retired.  She has worked with Christian Drama for the past 15 years with groups of teenagers and adults.  She has written and directed many years of Christmas and Easter plays.  She has written and directed a Vacation Bible School program for Mt. Pleasant Church (now known as Kalida Family Outreach).  She directed The New Life Drama Team, True Life Crew, Louder Than Words, and the Teen Refuge Drama Team.  The True Life Crew Drama Team consisted of almost 40 kids; they performed for Christian Women's Aglow, lots of surrounding churches, the Mennonite Charismatic Conference in Kidron, Oh., Channel 44's Turning Point, and were extra's in the out door "Living Word" Performance in Cambridge. Oh.

Recently, Dianne directed two dinner theater performances of "Trial By Error" a comical mystery for dinner theaters.  Those performances included adults and teens. I hope to do another dinner theater this fall for my church, Cable Rd. Alliance Church in Lima, Oh.  Dianne is currently working on a book called "Then There Was One" about being a widow and how God worked things through in her life.  She is also working to publish plays and skits that she has written.
